The Mini Cooper D is now one of the most eco-friendly cars that you can drive. There are not too many models available on the second-hand market, but if you have a little patience, you will surely find one. The car is also beautifully built and has an impossibly cute design that will remain attractive for many years. Although the car is equipped with the diesel engine, its zippy personality is retained. The engine is powerful and offers smooth drive with enough torque on every gear to safely take over. The best part of buying a used Mini Cooper with the diesel unit is the fuel efficiency, which gives around 70 miles from every gallon of fuel. The cabin offers good amount of space for the front passengers, but those in the back are cramped so the car does not seem to be a good option as a family vehicle. The boot space is strictly for two bags of shopping unless you drop the rear seat-backs. Although the used Mini is a little car, it feels refined and two front passengers can emerge feeling fresh even after a long motorway journey. The standard equipment level is poor; however most of used Mini Cooper D models have plenty of features from the endless list of extras offered by the producer. All in all, it is an incredible little car with great handling, astonishing looks and stunning fuel efficiency.
